It's just not grabbing my attention right now, and I'm too behind on my reading to keep struggling with it. What little I've read is quite cliched, following the usual girl-meets-weird guy, weird-guy stalks/hurts her, girl's too stupid to preserve her life so she goes investigating and almost ends up dead, and then the boy turns up and info-dumps about all the cool magicks and how he's super hot or something. I'm not sure, like I said, it's just not grabbing me.
